Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James couldn't hide his delight and excitement after witnessing Liverpool take home the FA Cup against Chelsea on Sunday.

Liverpool and Chelsea ended regulation time at a 0-0 deadlock, forcing the contest to turn into the penalty shootout. The Reds then proceeded to edge the Blues, thanks in large part to an Alisson save from a Mason Mount kick before Kostantinos Tsimikas nailed his shot in the seventh round.

Sure enough, LeBron was hyped to watch the team win and keep their quadruple dreams alive. The Lakers star has been a minority owner of the English club since 2011, so it isn't surprising why he's a huge supporter of the team.

Liverpool have already won the EFL Cup last February, and they now have the FA Cup title to add to their silverware. Next up for the team is to complete the quadruple win with the Champions League and Premier League championships very much within reach.

Of course things won't be easy as Jurgen Klopp's men search for immortality. They'll be facing a tough Real Madrid squad for the UCL title later this May, while they are behind Manchester City by three points in the Premier League standings.

If there is any team who is capable of beating the odds and surprising teams, though, it's Liverpool.

Naturally, LeBron James will keep his eyes glued on his TV as he watches his team attempt to make history.
