The Los Angeles Lakers are preparing to invite draft prospects for workouts, hoping to find out what they can contribute to their team before selections must be made. One of them is UCLA standout Lonzo Ball, who many believe is the obvious choice for the second overall pick should Markelle Fultz go off the board at number one.

Now that the team's head coach says he's prepared to deal with him, LaVar's wish is a step closer to coming true. It's also a strong message that Luke Walton is sending, making it clear that he won't be unnerved by LaVar's big personality.
