The Los Angeles Lakers and Milwaukee Bucks will square off on Thursday in what will be a historic night. The two teams have played exceptionally well through the early stages of this season, with both sides holding 24-4 overall records. As a result, Thursday night's matchup marks the first game in NBA history to feature two teams with fewer than five losses at this point of any season.
Said last night on @SpectrumSN I was honestly looking forward more to Lakers-Clippers game on Christmas, but tonight is historic:
First game in NBA history each team has fewer than five losses this late in a season. Lakers and Bucks 24-4 despite losing last games.

The Lakers will be looking to rebound from Tuesday night's 105-102 setback against the Pacers. The loss ended Los Angeles' 14-game road winning streak — a mark that will go down as third-best in league history.
Like the Lakers, the Bucks will be coming into Thursday's night's game fresh off a loss — a 120-116 defeat at the hands of the Mavs on Monday. The loss ended an impressive 18-game winning streak for Milwaukee, so it's safe to say they too will be looking to get back on track.

“It’s crazy. It’s insane. Obviously for me, that’s one of my goals to be able to play at a high level for the next 10 years,” Antetokounmpo said of James, via ESPN's Eric Woodyard.
