The Los Angeles Lakers and Brooklyn Nets will reportedly play games in China prior to the start of the 2019-20 regular season.
Both teams are around the same spot thus far this season, as the Lakers sit at 21-19 overall while the Nets are trying to get back to .500 at 20-21.
However, those records won't matter heading into the new season later this year, and that's when the two franchises will prepare for a trip out of the country.

The teams will play in Shanghai on Oct. 10 and will meet in Shenzhen on Oct. 12, continuing the trend of NBA squads competing in China. Last year, the Dallas Mavericks and Philadelphia 76ers traveled to the country in October for two preseason games.
Obviously, the chance to see LeBron James in action will be a big draw for those who choose to watch the Lakers, as he continues to be the biggest star in the NBA.
The Nets, though, will also figure to offer plenty of entertainment, and the fans in China should get to see some great basketball in those scheduled games.
As for the Lakers, they're currently looking to get on track with LeBron James still sidelined. The Purple and Gold are in the midst of a three-game losing streak since James suffered an injury on Christmas Day against the Golden State Warriors.
