Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers just fought against all odds and won Super Bowl LV. The Bucs dethroned the Kansas City Chiefs with a dominant performance on Sunday that was again spearheaded by the GOAT – Tom Brady. Brady, 43, just won his seventh Super Bowl ring in 10 appearances and now further cements his case as the greatest QB to ever play in the NFL.
After the win, NBA stars led by the league's defending champion LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers tipped their hat to TB12:
Brady 7 piece nugget!!! 💍💍💍💍💍💍💍 @TomBrady #WashedGoat

Real recognize real and as James perfectly puts it, that's just “GOAT Talk”.
Other NBA players also chimed in to celebrate with Brady and the Bucs:

NBA legend Magic Johnson though wasn't amused with how Super Bowl LV panned out:
I have to admit…I turned away because the game was boring and disappointing. 🤦🏿
— Earvin Magic Johnson (@MagicJohnson) February 8, 2021
Johnson was referring to the rather one-sided affair that happened on Sunday as the red-hot KC offense was nowhere to be found. Last year's Super Bowl MVP Patrick Mahomes had a rough night completing just 26/49 passes with two interceptions, three sacks, and more importantly, no touchdowns. Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce didn't quite show up in the season's biggest game as the Bucs' defense controlled the game from kick-off. The defending champs had to settle for three field goals as they ultimately fell 31-9.
On the other hand, Brady was at his finest. The seven-time Super Bowl champ played one of his best games all season with his offense clicking at the right time. He threw 201 yards for three touchdowns, no INTs, and just one sack.
