Memphis Grizzlies veteran forward Chandler Parsons once again has found himself in an all-too-familiar situation of dealing with another injury.

Chandler is managing a right knee and ankle soreness after landing on an opposing player's foot during Friday's game against the San Antonio Spurs. According to Michael Wallace of Grizzlies.com, the Grizzlies don't believe the injury is serious.

The 29-year-old's brief tenure with the Grizzlies has been marred by injuries as he played in just 34 games last season due to a partial tear of the meniscus in his left knee. He has been able to take the floor in 18 of the first 21 games this season averaging 8.8 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 1.9 assists per contest.

This latest ailment could lead to Chandler Parsons missing some playing time along with the team continuing to play him in limited minutes until he can prove he can handle a sizeable workload. The Grizzlies had originally signed Parsons in hopes of him becoming a major piece to the puzzle alongside Marc Gasol and Mike Conley Jr.

However, he has struggled to stay healthy enough to fulfill that role up to this point in time. Chandler Parsons is currently in the second year of his four-year, $94.4 million deal that doesn't include any player or team options.
