It's safe to say even Memphis Grizzlies guard Ja Morant couldn't believe the play he just pulled off against the Washington Wizards on Wednesday.
Late in the second quarter, Morant got fancy and dished out an incredible dime to Xavier Tillman that confused the hell out of Russell Westbrook and Davis Bertans. Westbrook's reaction was pretty epic, as video caught his head spinning with the amazing assist.
Here's a video of the play:

Of course, Ja Morant had to re-watch the play after the game because, be honest, who wouldn't? As expected, the Grizzlies youngster only had three emojis to write about his play. No words needed–we get it.

As icing on the cake, Morant and the Grizzlies took the 127-112 W against the Wizards to keep them in contention for a playoff spot in the West. In fact, after the victory, Memphis improved to 17-16 on the season, overtaking the Golden State Warriors for the ninth spot in the conference standings.
Morant scored 21 points and recorded six rebounds and 10 assists to help the Grizzlies. Jonas Valanciunas, for his part, led all scorers with a game-high 29 points. The Lithuanian big man also grabbed 20 rebounds and made four blocks to complete the dominant night.
While Morant's scoring efficiency has slightly dropped this 2020-21 campaign, it's pretty clear he has grown as a player and is now impacting the game in more ways than just scoring. His playmaking has undoubtedly improved, while his aggressiveness continues to stand out as he builds from his Rookie of the Year season.
