Memphis Grizzlies point guard Ja Morant is showing his support to ESPN reporter Maria Taylor amid the 670 The Score incident which took place on Monday.

Dan McNeil, a longtime Chicago-area sports radio host, sent a controversial tweet during Monday Night football in which he posted a photo of Taylor with the following caption: “NFL sideline reporter or a host for the AVN annual awards presentation?”

McNeil deleted the tweet, but the damage was already done. 670 The Score fired him on Tuesday, a move everyone was happy to see.

Morant also took to Twitter to back Taylor:

Taylor also responded to McNeil with a savage clap back:

Maria Taylor made her Monday Night Football debut during the Pittsburgh Steelers-New York Giants game. It's unfortunate she had to deal with these insensitive comments, but at least it got McNeil fired from his post so we don't have to hear him talk anymore.
