The Memphis Grizzlies got a huge shot in the arm with Ja Morant finally making his way back to the active status. The Grizzlies' guard missed a total of 12 games to recuperate from a nasty knee injury he suffered in a game late last November against the Atlanta Hawks.

But while Morant is now back in action on the court, he will be unavailable on social media, according to the point guard himself, via Twitter.

off social media for awhile ✌🏽 anybody who need me got my # .love is love 🖤

In his first game since the injury, Morant played 28 minutes and posted 16 points, eight assists, six rebounds, and two assists, though his effort was not enough to keep the Grizzlies from losing to the Oklahoma City Thunder, 102-99, at home Monday night. The Grizzlies are now 0-2 in the last two games, with some frustrated Memphis fans even directing their frustrations at Morant, per Drew Hill of The Daily Memphian.

Ja Morant said there were Grizzlies fans telling him he should sit back out during the game today. He’s not sure why they said that, but was disappointed.

Memphis, of course, shouldn't be buying any of that. Morant is an integral part of the Grizzlies franchise, as its face and best player — by a mile.

Morant and the Grizzlies will look to prevent a three-game losing skid when they kick off a road trip at Chase Center Thursday against the Golden State Warriors.
