Ja Morant put his team on his shoulder on Tuesday night as the Memphis Grizzlies defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves, 124-96, to tie this opening-round series at 1-1. Morant put up a 23-point, 10-assists double-double as he led the Grizzlies to a convincing blowout win against the Wolves.

After his strong performance in Game 2, Morant had a special message to the doubters who lost faith in the Grizzlies after they lost the opening game of the series:

“We got that same mindset coming onto the next one. Same fire, same energy,” said the Grizzlies superstar (h/t NBA TV on Twitter). “… A lot of people that said we're gonna make the Finals. After we lost Game 1 they witched up. Tell 'em to stay on that side they was on. We don't want them over here no more.”

Morant is never one to keep his feelings to himself and he just called out the Grizzlies' doubters here. As he said, they no longer want them back on their side after these naysayers decided to turn on Memphis after just one loss.

The Grizzlies will now look to get at least one win in Minnesota as the series shifts to the TImberwolves' home floor for Games 3 and 4.
