Ja Morant and Jaren Jackson Jr. were proud stage moms on Wednesday after Memphis Grizzlies rookie Ziaire Williams had a career night against the New York Knicks.
Williams exploded for 21 points on 9-of-11 shooting from the field (3-of-5 from deep) as he helped the Grizzlies take down the Knicks, 120-108. He also had four rebounds, three assists and one steal in a hyper-efficient night that saw him finish +11 on the plus-minus box score–second-best among all Memphis players, just behind Morant.
In Williams' postgame interview, Morant and JJJ made sure he had the best experience by helping him get ready for his moment. Watch the full interaction below:

Fans got to love this Grizzlies team. Not only are they playing at a high level, but they have been really supportive of each other as they try to help everyone succeed.
That chemistry and desire to help each other elevate their game have been crucial in their success so far. After Wednesday's win, they are now 36-18 on the season and have a firm grip for third in the Western Conference standings.
It remains to be seen if the Grizzlies can keep the momentum going as the playoff race heat up. However, there is no doubt they have the right tools and mentality to contend for the top seed and a postseason berth.
