Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant couldn't help but laugh at ESPN after the network aired a fake Michael Jordan quote that a parody Twitter account said was from him.

On Monday, ESPN mistakenly attributed a quote from Twitter account Ballsack Sports to Morant. In the video of the now-viral moment, Jacoby and his co-hosts thought that Morant really said MJ would have been “just another superstar” in today's NBA.

While Ja did mention that he would've “cooked” His Airness if he could play him in a one-on-one during that era, the Grizzlies youngster never said the quote that ESPN featured.

After seeing the mistake, Morant took to Twitter to react to it and said “these people crazy.” In a follow-up tweet, the 22-year-old mocked ESPN for falling victim to a troll Twitter account that is called “Ballsack Sports.” Seriously, how can anyone not sense it's a parody/satire site?

While Ja Morant garnered a lot of haters for his latest comments, he definitely got the W against ESPN and their attempt to criticize him or put in in a difficult situation. Hey, at least fans and haters alike got a good laugh at the expense of the network!

In all seriousness, though, Morant is turning himself into one of the most hated players in the NBA because of his rather hot and controversial takes and off-court antics. While he couldn't care less about it and with Grizzlies fans loving the confidence and swag he shows, it's clearly not sitting well with others.
