The Memphis Grizzlies have a walking highlight reel in sophomore Ja Morant. The high-flying guard has had several impressive highlights this season, one of which came against the Miami Heat on Wednesday.
In the third quarter, Morant sent KZ Okpala to the floor with a nasty crossover and drove straight to the paint for the easy bucket, making the entire sequence extra saucy.

Aside from the highlight, it was a good day for Morant and the Grizzlies as they went on to snap the five-game winning streak of the Miami Heat. The Grizzlies are currently 10th in the Western Conference with a 17-19 record just behind the Golden State Warriors and the Dallas Mavericks.
Morant, who went down with a foot injury early in the season, is averaging around 19.0 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 7.0 assists per game. The Grizzlies have been dealing with the injury bug all year but are hopeful they can make another push in the second half of the campaign. The Heat, meanwhile, have bounced back from their mediocre first half after winning 11 of their 12 games prior to Wednesday’s contest.
If the Grizzlies want to make a final push, Ja Morant must continue to lead, with or with no highlight moves. They will be hosting the Warriors twice this week, plus the Boston Celtics, before they hit the road to square off against the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Utah Jazz.
