Ja Morant just slayed the beast. The Memphis Grizzlies star put his team on his narrow shoulders and dropped the final exclamation point to beat the Golden State Warriors, 117-112.

Check out the game-sealing floater from the Grizzlies star:

Stephen Curry and the Warriors have been the talk of the NBA play-in tournament. Their near-upset against LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers had NBA circles buzzing about the Dubs. The Grizzlies were having none of that.

They came off an impressive play-in showing of their own, building a huge lead against the San Antonio Spurs and holding on to win it. Ja Morant and the Grizzlies were still reeling from the 113-101 loss they suffered against the Warriors in their final regular season game, which pushed them down to the 9th seed. But they turned the tables on their misfortune, catapulting themselves into the postseason by overtaking those very same Warriors.

Ja Morant was huge all game. He finished with 35 points to lead the Grizzlies, to go along with six rebounds and six assists. He got a total team effort from the rest of his supporting cast as seven other Grizzlies tallied nine or more points.

The Grizzlies have punched their ticket to the NBA Playoffs. Ja Morant, take a bow.
