Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant wants the NBA to know that he's not slowing down any time soon. As he and the Grit-and-Grind squad continue their ascent in the NBA, the young superstar vowed they are not going back.

Morant made that extremely clear in his latest tweet as the Grizzlies prepare for the 2022 playoffs. Memphis finished with the second-best record in the NBA at 56-26, but the team–led by its superstar guard–is not resting on those laurels.

They haven't proven anything anyway, and for Morant, there is no way to go but up.

The Grizzlies will be facing either the Minnesota Timberwolves or Los Angeles Clippers, depending on who wins the play-in tournament between those two teams on Tuesday. By the looks of it, though, they are more than ready whichever team they play in the first round of the playoffs.

Morant has been sensational for the Grizzlies this 2021-22, averaging 27.4 points, 5.7 rebounds and 6.7 assists per game. And sure enough, he was rightly acknowledged for it with his first All-Star appearance–even getting a starting nod.

However, Memphis is more than just a one-star team. As they have proven in games without the 22-year-old, they are a deep team that relies on every player instead of just one go-to guy.

And if Morant's message is any indication, they are well aware that they can improve more and be better, which should be a scary sight for the rest of the NBA.
