The Memphis Grizzlies blew out the Chicago Bulls in their meeting on Monday, and while Ja Morant and Desmond Bane were the heroes once again, another starter stepped up and was just as crucial as the two: Jaren Jackson Jr.
JJJ recorded 14 points and five rebounds in the contest, but what stood out the most from his game was his five blocks. He was undoubtedly critical in slowing down the Bulls' offense that had been wreaking havoc in the NBA over the past few weeks.
Naturally after the 119-106 victory, Jackson Jr. was feeling confident about his recent surge, so much so that he sent a rather stern warning to the rest of the NBA and their upcoming opponents.

Sure enough, the Bulls learned that the hard way. And if the rest of the NBA doesn't believe it, they'll surely be in for a surprise when they face the Grizzlies.
The Grizzlies are having a phenomenal year behind the leadership of Ja Morant and Jaren Jackson Jr., as well as the incredible rise of Desmond Bane. With the three youngsters leading the way, the future certainly looks bright once again for Grind City.
Memphis has a good grip of the fourth seed in the West, and the by the looks of it, it won't be surprising if they actually contend for the top seed.
