The Memphis Grizzlies scored perhaps the greatest win of a disappointing season against the Portland Trail Blazers on Wednesday night, but that hasn't kept star Marc Gasol from bemoaning the nightmare this 2017-18 season has been.

Gasol hasn't been a happy customer, even after the team fired former head coach David Fizdale, and put J.B. Bickerstaff as the interim for the remainder of the season.

The Grizzlies had lost eight straight games when Fizdale was fired after a home defeat to the Brooklyn Nets, but even after the change at the helm, managing only 14 wins since Nov. 26 — which have put them tied for the second-worst record in the league along with the Atlanta Hawks.

“We've been trying to bottle up our emotions through the year, but after the season we're going to have to open that bottle, and it's gonna be fun,” said Gasol, according to Peter Edminston of The Commercial Appeal.

Memphis has won the last two games, which seems counteractive to the tanking job they've done for the latter part of the season, but that won't keep Gasol from having a serious talk with ownership come this summer, where he'll address his situation with the franchise.

The Spaniard has been rumored to be an ideal fit on many different teams with championship aspirations, which begs the question: Would Gasol be willing to leave Memphis this summer?

A sound 7-foot-1 center, Gasol has also had his worst statistical season spreading out to the three-point line, shooting only 32.6 percent from long-range and 41.4 percent from the floor — an unacceptable mark for someone with his frame and skill.
