The Memphis Grizzlies have been without Ja Morant for the past two games now, but it looks as if it will be a while longer until the star point guard returns to action. Shams Charania reported Thursday that the Grizzlies are expected to re-examine Morant's knee injury in two weeks, keeping him out of action until at least early April.

Morant was initially ruled out for a clash against the Houston Rockets last week due to a sore knee. Things don't seem to have improved for the third-year superstar, however, and he's now set to miss at least the next two weeks in order to recover.
The Grizzlies are describing the injury as a tweaked knee, and Taylor Jenkins offered the two-week timetable for Morant's re-evaluation, at which point hopefully the team will have a positive update.

Despite Morant's absence, the Grizzlies have remained a formidable opponent with their star point guard sidelined. They won each of the last two games he was out for, and are 15-2 on the season when the former No. 2 pick is unavailable to play.
Morant was dealing with a back injury last week, but it's his knee that ended up costing him time. The injury will force him to miss at least the next seven games, should the provided timetable be accurate, including key matchups with the Bucks, Warriors, Suns, and Jazz.
This season, Morant is averaging 27.6 points, 6.7 assists, 5.7 rebounds, and is shooting at a 49.3% clip from the field, and 34% from deep. His breakout season saw him get named an All-Star starter for the first time.
