Memphis Grizzlies owner Robert Pera says the franchise will retire Mike Conley's No. 11 jersey one day.
The Grizzlies officially traded Conley to the Utah Jazz on Saturday. Memphis drafted Conley with the fourth overall pick in the 2007 NBA Draft out of Ohio State University.

Mike Conley is the Grizzlies' all-time leader in games played, assists, steals and points. The lefty finished his Grizzlies career with averages of 14.9 points, 3.0 rebounds and 5.7 assists while shooting 44.1 percent from the field, 37.5 percent from beyond the arc and 81.9 percent from the free-throw line in 788 regular season games.
Memphis drafted Murray State point guard Ja Morant with the second overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft. With both Conley and Marc Gasol gone, the Grizzlies are now building the team around Morant and big man Jaren Jackson Jr.
Conley is going to get a rousing standing ovation when he makes his first return back to Memphis as a member of the Jazz. He was loved by the fans in Memphis. It's unfortunate Conley never made an All-Star team as a member of the Grizzlies. He's universally recognized as one of the most underrated players in the NBA. The Jazz are so excited to add Conley. You can bet all of Memphis is still going to root for Conley even though he's in Utah now.
