The No. 33 above All-Star center Marc Gasol's locker has been removed by the Memphis Grizzlies, according to David Cobb of the Memphis Commercial Appeal.
This likely means Marc Gasol is going to be traded soon. Reports came out on Tuesday stating that the Charlotte Hornets and Memphis were in advanced discussions on a Gasol trade.

If this is really it for Gasol in Memphis, the franchise will surely retire his jersey one day.
Memphis has the second-worst record in the Western Conference. Gasol is making $24,119,025 this season and has a player option worth $25,595,700 for next season.
A rebuild for the Grizzlies is the logical step to take, even if it means parting ways with Marc Gasol, who is arguably the best player in franchise history.
