The Memphis Grizzlies suffered back-to-back blowout losses to the San Antonio Spurs in their first two playoff games and they’re tired of it.
After the second blowout, Grizzlies' forward Matt Barnes was quoted as saying that the Grizzlies had been coming to a “gunfight with some spoons.”
Now that they’re heading back home down 0-2, the Grizzlies are pulling out all the stops (and utensils) to steal a win back from the Spurs.
Article Continues Below“Forks, spoons, knives, the sharpening knife,” Barnes said Thursday. “Whatever we got, can openers, bottle wine openers.”
Based on a recent post by the Grizzlies' Twitter account, they may have taken his statements a bit too literally.

The Grizzlies and Spurs will face off again Friday night at 9:30pm (EST). Let's hope the Grizzlies have more than a few utensils at their disposal.
