Miami Heat star Bam Adebayo is the most recent addition to Jordan Brand. He joins a talented young roster of players who sport the Jumpman logo, including Luka Doncic, Zion Williamson, and Jayson Tatum.
Adebayo is excited for this opportunity:

This is an interesting development for Adebayo since big men aren't often the first players that come to mind when thinking about basketball shoes. Just look at Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, and LeBron James. The Converse Weapon was endorsed mainly by Magic Johnson and Larry Bird.

Adebayo has come a long way from being just an energy guy at Kentucky to being the well-rounded center we know today in Miami. In the 30 games he has played this season, he's averaging 19.6 points, 9.6 rebounds, 5.5 assists, and a block.
Adebayo is able to do things expected of big men like scoring inside the paint, getting boards, and protecting the paint. What sets him apart from average bigs is his uncanny playmaking. He can easily locate cutters and open shooters, and there are many plays where the offense runs through him. Adebayo is a testament to how the position has evolved. Elite players like him are allaying fears that the big man is going out of style.
Adebayo and Jimmy Butler are leading the charge for the Heat as they attempt to climb out of the early-season hole the team was in. Miami is currently riding a four-game winning streak, but a tough matchup against the mighty Utah Jazz looms on Friday night.
