Giannis Antetokounmpo's future with the Milwaukee Bucks might be decided in the coming days, but he does not want to talk about whether he will sign the supermax.
The Greek Freak has until the Dec. 21 deadline to sign a supermax extension with Milwaukee. If he doesn't sign the supermax, he's likely headed to unrestricted free agency in 2021. Naturally, the decision garners the interest of fans and league personnel alike.
However, Antetokounmpo said he is leaving contract matters to his agent and keeping the focus on his game:

Giannis attempted to emphasize he is truly only focusing on basketball, adding he is not the kind of player in constant contact with his representatives:

That said, the two-time reigning league MVP clearly understands the gravity of his impending decision and recognizes its importance for him, individually:
“Obviously, I care about it. It's a very big decision,” Giannis Antetokounmpo said, via Nehm. “One of the biggest decisions I'm going to make.”
To say Giannis' decision is “big” might be an understatement.
Some teams approached free agency with caution this fall, understanding they might hope to land Antetokounmpo this upcoming summer. Take, for example, the Dallas Mavericks, who are reportedly keen on adding Antetokounmpo and made very few roster moves this fall.
The whole league awaits Giannis Antetokounmpo's decision. But the ever-present Bucks star is intent on sticking to the hardwood.
