Milwaukee Bucks forward Jabari Parker will be back on the court soon with his team making a push for a higher seed in the playoffs. He is expected to return to the lineup in a few weeks and he is more than ready to get some NBA action.
Yahoo Sports Insider Jordan Schultz spoke with Parker recently, not only about coming back from the injury, but also about his upcoming free agency.
“Just asked Jabari Parker about his return and on a bigger scale, about upcoming free agency: ‘No anxiety,’ he says. ‘I'm not trying to be famous. I just stick to what I know best and that's playing the game. I don't want any attention.’”
Parker has been out since February 8, 2017 after suffering a torn ACL during a game versus the Houston Rockets. He told Scott Grodsky of CBS 58 (Milwaukee) that he is hoping to return to the team ahead of the All-Star break.

“Jabari Parker tells me he feels good and is hoping to return ‘the first two weeks before the all-star game. It’s probably in that area. We just have to see how I keep doing with my pickup games.’”

Jabari Parker will be a free agent this summer after he and the Milwaukee Bucks failed to negotiate a contract extension. He is seeking “a max contract of five years for anywhere between $146 million (25 percent of the salary cap) to $175M (30 percent of the cap),” says Bucks beat writer Gery Woelfel.
Before the injury, Parker was averaging 20.1 points, 6.2 rebounds, 2.8 assists, and 1.0 steals per game.
