He hasn’t been on the floor much this season after coming off an injury, but the Milwaukee BucksJabari Parker doesn’t care. The young forward took off and threw the ball down hard in the face of two Atlanta Hawks players.

After the Hawks’ rookie John Hollins missed a dunk at the other end of the court, the Bucks immediately ran a fastbreak. The ball quickly moved from Tony Snell to Thon Maker, who then passed the leather to Parker. After receiving the pass, the offensive-minded swingman elevated above the 6-foot-10 Collins and the 6-foot-11 Mike Muscala, posterizing both players with a vicious one-handed slam.

The dunk gave the Bucks a 10-point lead late in the third quarter, 63-53. Milwaukee went on to win the game 97-92.

Parker returned to the Bucks lineup on February 2 versus the New York Knicks, scoring 12 points after not playing since last season. The Bucks are pacing him slowly, keeping Parker from playing too many minutes in games. He is playing between 15-20 minutes every night which is expected to increase as the regular season progresses.

He had a season-ending injury on February 8, 2017, when he suffered a torn ACL, his second, during their game against the Houston Rockets.

The former Duke player was the second pick overall by the Milwaukee Bucks in the 2014 NBA Draft. He only played in 25 games during his rookie season after suffering an injury that kept him out of the lineup until the following season.

For his career, Parker is averaging 15.6 points, 5.5 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 1.0 steals per game.
