Anthony Edwards has a bright future ahead of him. The Minnesota Timberwolves youngster is brimming with the potential to be among the best players of his generation and he also has the big personality to match his play on the court. And he's got his own way of being great, but it apparently doesn't include hitting shots from way out the 3-point line just like Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry.
Edwards recently was working out together with Boston Celtics forward Jaylen Brown and when he saw Brown pulling up from “Stephen Curry range,” the second-year Timberwolves shooting guard simply admitted there's no way he will be taking shots from the parking lot.

Stephen Curry is Stephen Curry and no matter how other players try, they won't be as accurate in shooting ridiculously far 3-pointers the way he does. It would be better for Edwards to sharpen his 3-point shots first before even flirting with the idea of mimicking the ways of Curry on the court. In his first year in the NBA with the Timberwolves, Edwards shot just 32.9 percent from behind the arc. He's also still far from being an efficient scorer, as he only made 41.7 percent of his field-goal attempts in the 2020-21 NBA season.
Edwards is still only 20. There's still plenty of time for him to become a serious threat from deep.
