Minnesota Timberwolves guard Anthony Edwards recently channels his inner Stephen Curry as he was shown working out draining 3-pointers from way beyond the arc.

Edwards is surely motivated to work on his game after his second-place finish behind the Charlotte Hornets' LaMelo Ball in the NBA Rookie of the Year award. The TWolves guard averaged 19.3 points, 4.7 rebounds, 2.9 assists, and 1.1 steals per game last season.

However, his 3-point shooting is still a bit shaky last year as he only converted 32.9% of his attempts. In a recent workout clip, the TWolves' former number one pick is seen shooting on where they call “Curry Range” which is further than the 3-point line and almost near the halfcourt.

The Golden State Warriors' superstar changed the game regarding how we play and view it. Back then this will always be called a bad shot, but now, players are less hesitant to pull the trigger from deep.

Curry's influence is so great that fellow NBA players, college ballplayers, and kids have been mimicking his playstyle.

For the Timberwolves, Edwards has a very high ceiling since he showed a lot of potential last season by scoring a career-high 42 points twice against the eventual title runners-up Phoenix Suns and the Memphis Grizzlies.

The former Georgia product had a tough start to his rookie year as he fairly struggled after coming off the bench for most of the games. However, his late resurgence definitely made Ball work for his Rookie of the Year honors as Edwards had a stretch of games where he just looked unstoppable.

With Edwards, Karl-Anthony Towns, and D'Angelo Russell locked in, it will be exciting how the TWolves will fair next season in a stacked Western Conference.

Will we see a major jump from Edwards' game next season? If he continues to drain 3-pointers at this rate, it will be scary for the rest of the NBA.
