Minnesota Timberwolves superstar Karl-Anthony Towns can finally put a smile on his face after a huge win against the Los Angeles Lakers. KAT's squad flew to Hollywood carrying a six-game losing skid which they ultimately snapped with an impressive 107-83 blowout win against the Purple & Gold.

It's been a tough past few weeks for Towns and the Wolves as they continue to find their identity and losing six-straight games early in the season could definitely lead to more questions than answers. Fortunately, Towns came up huge on Friday night with a 29-point game to give Minnesota just their second road win this season.

After the game, the Timberwolves leader had a few jokes in him as he put out a major sigh of relief as a result of an all-important win.

Laughs have been few and far between within the Wolves camp this season. The young crew, led by KAT and guys like D'Angelo Russell and Anthony Edwards, have found it tough to really make a mark early in the '21-22 NBA season. Losses have been piling up which has forced members of the team to be quite vocal to try and motivate each other. And, as it seems, it's slowly working out.

Despite rumors on him possibly asking for a trade, Towns has steered the ship and has been the leader for Minnesota. If he can continue to step up and be the superstar the franchise needs him to be, huge wins like Friday's shouldn't be hard to come by.
