The Minnesota Timberwolves made an exciting move by hiring Marquis Watts, who's an executive with Klutch Sports Group, to a role within the Timberwolves organization.

This is the first big move that the new Timberwolves owners have made and it is certainly an exciting one. Minnesota hasn't necessarily been playing great basketball this season but they do look much improved from what they did a year ago. They're currently 20-21 and hold the ninth seed in the Western Conference.

They definitely have some star players on their team including Karl Anthony Towns, Anthony Edwards, and D'Angelo Russell. A team with this much talent should eventually be able to start playing a bit better than they are at the moment and that could lead to some exciting times and success for the Timberwolves organization.

It will be interesting to see how the rest of the year plays out for the Timberwolves and if they are going to make any other big moves on their roster. This is the first big move that the organization's new ownership has made but this could be one of the first that they are going to make this year.

They clearly have the three guys that they need to compete in this league and if they can go out and get some more role pieces, Minnesota will be sitting in a very good position.
