The Minnesota Timberwolves held a players-only meeting after Game 5's loss to the Memphis Grizzlies, per Yahoo Sports' Chris Haynes.

The loss was a crucial one, as they are now down 3-2 in the series. As a result, the Wolves must win each of the last two games to advance to the Western Conference semifinals. The players-only meeting comes ahead of Friday's Game 6.

Game 5 came down to the wire, as the Wolves even held a decent lead late in the game. The Grizzlies were able to storm back before Anthony Edwards hit a game-tying three-pointer with just under five seconds left. Ja Morant proceeded to drive in for a game-winning layup.

Edwards faced some criticism for his defense on the play, biting on the pass to Morant at the top of the key. He's also received criticism for playing a bit too much of isolation basketball and not passing the ball enough. Via Haynes' article, Edwards took blame for the lack of ball movement within the offense.

In his first career playoff stint, Edwards hasn't disappointed. In five games so far, he's averaged 24.2 points per game on an efficient 46.5% from the field and 40.4% from three. His true-shooting percentage has gone up over 6% in comparison to his regular season numbers. While his numbers have been great, the Timberwolves certainly need more ball movement, and it begins with Edwards.

Game 6 will be back in Minnesota, giving the Timberwolves some hope. The two teams have gone back and forth all series long, trading blow after blow. The Grizzlies currently sit as one-point favorites over the Wolves.
