The Minnesota Timberwolves appear to be taking some baby steps towards building a more cohesive team for the 2019-20 NBA season.
Several Timberwolves players were seen at the Thomas and Mack Center in Las Vegas to watch their Summer League team, who went up against the Atlanta Hawks. In a video posted by Dane Moore of Zone Coverage, Jordan Bell and Andrew Wiggins were seen arriving alongside rookie Jarrett Culver.

In another video, Timberwolves superstar Karl-Anthony Towns was caught greeting and shaking hands with his teammates at courtside. Moore pointed out that no Timberwolves player took time to support their summer league team last year, which is a complete opposite of what they did on Sunday.

Culver was supposed to play for the Timberwolves in the summer league, but he was unavailable on Sunday's game because the trade that sent him to Minnesota was just finalized on Saturday. The Timberwolves acquired the rights to Culver, who was drafted sixth overall, in exchange for the 11th pick and veteran forward Dario Saric.
Even without Culver, the Timberwolves still managed to cruise to a 90-66 win over the Hawks to take their second win in as many games in the Las Vegas Summer League. Josh Okogie led Minnesota with 15 points and seven rebounds, while Keita Bates-Diop added 11 points and 11 rebounds.
