Minnesota Timberwolves forward Karl-Anthony Towns is certainly carrying pressure from one of the franchise's biggest superstar Kevin Garnett. Not only do they play similar positions, but Anthony-Towns has often been compared to Garnett for having a similar play-style with the Minnesota legend.

In a video by SLAM Magazine, it shows KAT and a side-by-side comparison with Garnett and their turnaround fadeaway shot from the post.

The similarities in their mechanics are pretty apparent but not purely coincidental. The two played together in the 2015-2016 season, Karl-Anthony Towns first season as a pro and Kevin Garnett's last before he hung up he basketball jersey for good. One can just imagine the two working out: the teacher sharing his secrets while the student eagerly listens.

It was a year worth remembering for KAT. Not only did he go on to win Rookie of the Year, but he also got a chance to forge a lifelong friendship with Garnett.

In an interview posted in the NBA website several years ago, Anthony-Towns shared how much of an influence KG was to his game.

There’s no price that you can pay, no money that can buy you the experience that I’ve been gifted with my first year in the NBA.

KAT also added that he runs to KG for advice, specifically on how the business of basketball works, how to be a good leader and more importantly, how to be a great human being.
