Jordan Poole has been the biggest revelation this season for the Golden State Warriors.

He's turned into a dependable scorer whether off the bench or in the starting lineup, which has been an invaluable weapon for a Warriors squad that's dealt with an injury to Stephen Curry and a recovering season for Klay Thompson.

Steve Kerr was asked about the potential impact that Jordan Poole's swift rise could possibly have on Klay Thompson. The Warriors coach was honest that it would be a “challenge” but not one that Golden State is going to shy away from.

“The challenge is for the group to come together and realize who we are, what our identity is, what does that mean offensively,” the Warriors coach said on 95.7 The Game. “We need both those guys. We need Jordan creating shots, we need Klay on the backside of plays knocking down open shots and playing defense.

Jordan Poole has poured in 12 straight games of at least 20 points, dating back to well before Stephen Curry went down with injury against the Boston Celtics on March 16th. He's turning the corner in real time and looks to be a lethal threat.

But Steve Kerr feels like his emergence can do nothing but supplement the potency of both Steph Curry and Klay Thompson. Who gets plays run for them and who gets the points on any given night isn't what it's about more so than the team just figuring out how to play winning basketball together.

“If we can really tighten some things up here over the last nine games, then I feel great going into the playoffs having Jordan and Klay along with the rest of our guys. It’s not a matter of one guy playing more minutes or getting more shots, it’s about our team playing together and figuring that out.”

The Warriors have a handful of games left to prepare for the stretch run of the postseason. If Jordan Poole can continue his hot streak, Klay Thompson can resemble the Klay of old, and Stephen Curry can return in full force, Golden State can certainly win it all.
