Four teams have already inquired about New Orleans Pelicans talisman Anthony Davis, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
The L.A. Clippers, Los Angeles Lakers, New York Knicks and the Brooklyn Nets have all been among the front offices asking about Davis, greasing the wheels on a potential trade.
The Boston Celtics, who could potentially have the most attractive ready-made package for New Orleans, must first take in consideration their own situation with Kyrie Irving, as losing him could severely impact how they approach the potential loss of assets by chasing after Davis.
Kawhi Leonard's recent success with the Toronto Raptors has also changed Davis' thinking when it comes to his non-preferred destinations, such as smaller NBA markets that New Orleans could make a deal with.
President of basketball operations David Griffin talked with Davis recently to find some common ground, but the six-time All-Star is reportedly still hellbent on making his way out of New Orleans.
Griffin isn't convinced that a single team has the assets desired in a trade, making it more likely that he'd look into multi-team trades to make a deal possible.

“New Orleans seems determined to be creative in constructing a deal to maximize the return on Davis, one of the NBA's elite talents.”
Griffin has yet to give teams a firm timetable to make this deal happen, but he's made his preference known, hoping it will be before the start of the NBA Draft in June 20.
This will gives the Pelicans a chance to meet and scout draft selections before deciding on a trade.
The Knicks' No. 3 overall pick and the Lakers' fourth overall remain the two most sought-after assets heading into this trade scenario.
