New Orleans Pelicans executive David Griffin is excited about the developing chemistry between rookie Zion Williamson and point guard Lonzo Ball.
Ball and Williamson have been connecting on a bunch of alley-oops lately and it's been really fun to watch for Pelicans fans.

Before the season got suspended due to the coronavirus pandemic, the Pelicans were in 10th place in the Western Conference standings. New Orleans has a record of 28-36.
Williamson has appeared in 19 games for the Pelicans this season. He missed the beginning of his rookie season after undergoing left knee surgery. However, since making his debut, Zion has been a monster.
Zion is averaging 23.6 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per game for the Pelicans. The former Duke star is shooting 58.9 percent from the field, 46.2 percent from beyond the arc, and 64.5 percent from the free-throw line.
Meanwhile, in his first season with the Pelicans after starting his career with the Los Angeles Lakers, Ball is putting up 12.4 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 7.0 assists per game while shooting 41.2 percent from the floor, 38.3 percent from the 3-point line, and 56.7 percent from the foul line.
Other than Ball's poor free-throw percentage, the Pelicans have loved what they have seen from the former UCLA standout, along with Brandon Ingram, Josh Hart, and Williamson — the key players moving forward for New Orleans in the post-Anthony Davis era.
Point guard Jrue Holiday is still the star of the team, but his future is unclear.
