Battling foul trouble throughout the match, DeMarcus Cousins and the New Orleans Pelicans did not have a lot to celebrate on Monday versus the Golden State Warriors. However, one play pumped up the 6-foot-11 big man during the second quarter, where he can be seen head-banging on the bench.
With 2:49 left in the period, Rajon Rondo drilled a 3-pointer to give their team a 12-point lead. The Pelicans were in the midst of a huge run at that point, and extended their lead even with Cousins on the bench.

It may seem like any ordinary 3-pointer, but what makes it more impressive is that Rondo only shoots 30.3 percent from beyond the arc, and does not attempt a lot of shots from that distance. The former four-time All-Star finished the game with a double-double of 10 points and 11 assists, to go along with five assists.
His efforts were not enough to give the Pelicans the win though, as they lost to the Dubs 125-115. It was their fifth loss in six games, and will need to get back to their winning ways quickly, if they want to contend for a playoff spot in the tough Western Conference.
