Spears of The Undefeated. “A lot of the times, too, there was a point where we weren’t healthy or something happened or whatever it was. I always felt like our full potential was always taken from us because whatever the circumstance may be. I’m still hopeful and encouraged. I’m still ready to go out and hoop.”
After the Pelicans traded Anthony Davis to the Los Angeles Lakers, many were wondering what the future held for Holiday. So far, the All-NBA defender wants to stay in New Orleans and build the franchise back up in the post-Davis era.
The Pelicans are 6-11 on the season. Holiday is averaging 18.7 points, 5.1 rebounds and 7.0 assists while shooting 43.0 percent from the field, 32.1 percent from beyond the arc and 77.3 percent from the free-throw line.
Holiday and the Pelicans host Davis and the Lakers on Wednesday. AD is going to get heavily booed in his return to The Big Easy.
