New Orleans Pelicans point guard Lonzo Ball says his improved shooting form “happened gradually” over the summer.
Ball showed off his new shooting form at Pelicans practice and the results look pretty good.
Lonzo Ball on his shot: "I've been working on it all summer, since I was able to get back on the court." Ball on altering his form to move the ball closer to his right side: "It happened gradually. (It started) looking better and better every day." https://t.co/eFwlGtON8R

In two seasons with the Los Angeles Lakers, Lonzo Ball shot only 38.0 percent from the field, 31.5 percent from beyond the arc and 43.7 percent from the free-throw line. The Pelicans are hoping the former No. 2 overall pick will become a better shooter in New Orleans since he'll be playing with more space and is getting stronger.

New Orleans would like to see Holiday take Ball under his wing and maybe have JJ Redick help Lonzo with his shot — although from the looks of it, Ball has taken the necessary steps to become a more efficient shooter on his own.
In the post-Anthony Davis era, all eyes are going to be on No. 1 overall pick Zion Williamson, which is actually going to be great for Ball since he'll get to fly under the radar, something he wasn't able to do in Los Angeles.
