Zion wasn't the only star that was in attendance. The Pelicans came in full force to support their team, with Brandon Ingram, CJ McCollum, Naji Marshall, and Jose Alvarado all sitting courtside with Williamson:

There has been a lot of excitement leading up to the new season regarding Williamson's return to action. Several videos of the 22-year-old putting in work during the offseason have been making their rounds on social media, and all of them seem to point to the fact that the Pelicans star is raring to go.

Zion Williamson ended up sitting out the entirety of the 2021-22 season due to a lingering foot injury. Despite his absence, New Orleans still made it to the playoffs for the first time in nearly half a decade. The Pelicans will be hoping to build on last year's relatively successful campaign, and with Zion presumably back in the fold, this could be a very dangerous team in 2022-23.
