The New Orleans Pelicans have not played the type of basketball that they had hoped for this season, and much of it can be attributed to Zion Williamson's injury, since he has yet to play a game for them this season.
With a 20-32 record, New Orleans is currently the 11th seed in the Western Conference and hasn't looked good at all this season.
There have been several reports that they may try to deal a few of their players in order to bring back some better components to surround Brandon Ingram and Zion. If they can reassemble the appropriate components around both of those players, they have a chance to make a splash if they can just keep those two healthy.

The Pelicans' desire to move Josh Hart is understandable. He isn't having a bad season by any means, but there are certainly better options out there for this team, and he could return a favorable return that could help them either if they decide to go through a more serious rebuilding process, or if they are looking to get back an impact type of player who can contribute more around Zion Williamson and Brandon Ingram.
It'll be interesting to watch who enters trade negotiations for Josh Hart, but many teams will be interested in a player of his level at the deadline this year.
