The New Orleans Pelicans may have won on Monday night at home against the Detroit Pistons, but that's not the only game on DeMarcus Cousins' mind. While being interviewed, Cousins was also watching the College Football National Championship game live inside their locker room.
Being an Alabama native, it was obvious who the three-time All-Star was rooting for. The Pelicans big man was answering a question from a reporter, when he immediately stood up and cheered for the Crimson Tide as Raekwon Davis intercepted the ball.

The night ended with a double celebration for Cousins as the Crimson Tide went on to win the title by defeating the Georgia Bulldogs, 26-23.
Cousins finished the match against the Pistons with another double-double of 20 points and 10 rebounds, to go along with four assists, two steals, and two blocks. He was able to bounce back quickly from a slow start to the game, notching only two points at halftime. It came at a cost, though, as Anthony Davis' left the game after suffering an ankle injury.
However, Cousins was also called for another technical foul on the night — his eighth of the season.
Davis rolled his ankle late in the game, but Cousins carried the cudgels for the Pelicans, who are now back to their winning ways following their defeat on Saturday at the hands of the Minnesota Timberwolves. If Davis will be forced to miss some time, it can be expected that Cousins will be tasked to carry majority of the Pelicans' scoring load in their upcoming games.
