New Orleans Pelicans guard Lonzo Ball sprained his ankle twice in a span of three seconds while bringing up the ball against the Brooklyn Nets on Monday.

As he was bringing up the rock, Ball stumbled twice — apparently tripping on his own feet. On his second stumble, notice how Ball grimaced in pain.

Lonzo finished the game with 15 points, two rebounds and three assists. He was 6-of-10 from the field and 3-of-7 from deep.

According to Pelicans head coach Alvin Gentry, Ball had cramps but didn't suffer any serious injury and should be fine.

For the season, the 22-year-old playmaker is putting up 12.0 points, 7.3 assists, 5.0 rebounds and 1.2 steals per game. He continues to showcase his supreme vision on the court, efficiently running the Pelicans' offense through his crisp passes and innate understanding of the game.

What's noticeable is Ball's new shooting form. Before, his shot seemed to come from the left — a shot that proved inconsistent at the professional level. He has corrected it and so far, it has been yielding good results.

Ball is one of the main guys for the Pelicans and keeping him healthy is certainly  a priority for the team. After all, they can't afford any more health issues to their youngsters after Zion Williamson's injury.
