While Davis and Cousins were not able to consecutively string together wins together, you could see the dynamic potential of the duo, and with the right pieces around them, they had the potential to do big things.

Cousins would then go on to sign a one-year deal with the Golden State Warriors over the summer, as no other teams were willing to give a mercurial big man coming off of a debilitating injury the kind of money he wanted.

Davis has been with the New Orleans organization since entering the league in 2012. During Davis' seven-year run with the Pelicans, the team only made the playoffs twice.
