With their team in the midst of another disastrous season, New York Knicks fans appear set on just having as much fun as they possibly can. Their weird sense of fandom was on full display again, with the team's home supporters openly cheering for Dwyane Wade and the visiting Miami Heat team on Sunday.

The very warm welcome and the standing ovation for a soon-to-be-retired Wade is completely understandable, as it was a genuine show of appreciation for one of the game's greats. The MVP chants were barely audible, but if you listen closely, you could definitely hear it while Wade was taking his free throws.

Perhaps the Knicks' home supporters attendance is so bad that they were completely outnumbered by visiting Heat fans on the evening. That would explain the “Let's go Heat!” chants. Then again, it would not be surprising if it were actually the Knicks fans — a very loyal, yet completely unforgiving bunch — who were cheering for the Heat.
It's hard not to wonder how that must have felt like for the Knicks players. Sure, they're having another terrible season, but having your own supporters turn on you is still a bit much, right?
Needless to say, it was Wade and co. who took the victory against the hapless Knicks on Sunday, 106-97. For his part, Wade had another memorable performance in Madison Square Garden, notching 15 points (on 5-of-12 shooting), one three-pointer, five rebounds, 10 assists, and a steal in 28 minutes off the Miami bench.
