The New York Knicks are expected to pursue superstars this summer in free agency, but head coach David Fizdale isn't even thinking about that right now.

Article Continues Below“I'm not even thinking about that, honestly,” Fizdale said, via Chris Iseman of North Jersey.com. “I’m so focused on the Spurs and the next 14 games. That’s waiting for us then and when we get there that’s when my mind will shift to that.
“I’m like in a darkroom right now with these guys. I’ve got a lot of things I’m trying to clean up and teach these young guys. Free agency for me is like millions of miles away.”
The Knicks currently have the worst record in the NBA at 13-55. They continue to be a walking disaster, although Fizdale has done a nice job this season in terms of developing the young talent on the roster.
New York has been linked to Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving. Both superstars become free agents this summer once they decline their 2019-20 player options with their respective teams.
