New York Knicks rookie Mitchell Robinson is one of the few bright spots for the team this season. Although he was selected 36th overall by the franchise in last year's draft, the 20 year-old big man has shown flashes of becoming one of the best two-way bigs in the league.

Ahead of the Miami Heat's match-up with the Knicks, Dwyane Wade said that he likes what he's seeing from Robinson this season, and the three-time champion believes the best is yet to come for the young center.

“I like him. It’s great DeAndre [Jordan] is here. He’s able to have him think the game a different way,” Wade told Marc Berman of the New York Post. “The kid has a lot of upside. As a fan of the game, I like what he brings and how hard he plays and he’s only getting better.”

Mitchell Robinson has been sensational on the defensive end this season. He ranks second in the league in blocks with 2.4 per game, trailing only Indiana Pacers' Myles Turner. He could clearly learn a lot from DeAndre Jordan, who was once one of the most athletic shot blockers in the league during his prime.

He's not bad on offense either, averaging 6.9 points on 68 percent shooting.

To get some kind of recognition from one of the best basketball players in the history of basketball is something that should motivate someone like Robinson into putting more effort in his growth and development. The Knicks are obviously rebuilding and Robinson has what it takes to be part of the team's long-term future.
