Kevin Durant isn't a fan of the New York Knicks.

If that wasn't evident by the time he told a fan in New York that he'd “never” come to the Knicks, this interview with The Ringer's Bill Simmons in The Bill Simmons Podcast should seal the matter.

Asked about what has happened with the Knicks this offseason, Durant directly pointed out owner Jim Dolan's slew of bad moves, claiming the team is now “stuck” with the situation at hand (via SNY).

“Everything starts at the top, you have bad leadership, and it's just going to trickle down to everybody else,” Durant said. “When a GM wants to make a decision, he has to talk to the owner and he's nowhere to be found and he don't care then you kind of stuck and that causes tension.”

The Knicks have been back and forth between trading Carmelo Anthony and even considered trading star forward Kristaps Porzingis during the end of the Phil Jackson era, but are now “stuck” with Anthony hellbent on being traded to Houston and a no-trade clause that can dominate any situation.

However, Durant admitted he's a fan of that unique ambiance that only Madison Square Garden can provide — prompting that his favorite aspect is the old-school buzzer the arena has been known for throughout the years.

“Madison Square that s*** is so live in there and you just know it's the Mecca,” he said. “I don't think they should ever change that.”
