The New York Knicks are kicking off a fresh start to its franchise, after a tumultuous past few years, with their newest jersey for the 2017-18 season.

Gone is Phil Jackson and all the drama that circled his tenure with the organization, and in goes the Knicks’ fresh threads courtesy of Nike. Rookie Frank Ntilikina donned the team’s Association jersey in the rookie photoshoot.

Meanwhile, here’s another image of Ntilikina rocking the Knicks’ Icon colors.

The design enforces a more minimalistic approach but one subtle addition is the “Knicks” feature that has been placed at the belt buckle. As expected, Nike has remained loyal to the team's colors which makes it more acceptable to the more sensitive-eyed Knicks fans.

The Association edition replaces the traditional home whites, and the Icon edition used to be the road colors.

Only one item remains for the new look Knicks and that is resolving Carmelo Anthony's situation. The All-Star forward has had an acceptable beginning to his relationship with the team's new top brass, and reports on New York revisiting the previously-stalled trade talks with the Houston Rockets have now emerged.

Just get that done and it's now all on unicorn Kristaps Porzingis to carry the franchise to new heights.
