A commotion broke out in the closing seconds of the contest between the New York Knicks and Utah Jazz last Sunday. Julius Randle, Rudy Gobert, and Donovan Mitchell all got in the face of each other as the tension boiled over even after the final buzzer.

Randle was the one who started the altercation after shoving Gobert. He also had a spat with the referees, as the Knicks dropped another game at home, 108-93. On Tuesday, he was fined $40,000 for his shenanigans, bringing his total to $130,000 in fines in what has been an incredibly frustrating campaign.

The Knicks are in danger of not even earning a spot in the play-in tournament, and Randle, who's usually a mild-mannered guy, has let his anger get the best of him this season. Knicks coach Tom Thibodeau didn't pin the blame on his star forward, but he also offered a piece of advice, per the report of ESPN.
