If Kevin Durant signs with the New York Knicks this summer, industry insiders reportedly think he’d host his own show on MSG Network, according to Marc Berman of the New York Post.

Durant becomes an unrestricted free agent this offseason once he declines his 2019-20 player option with the Golden State Warriors. The former MVP has been heavily linked to signing with the Knicks for quite some time now.

Knicks telecasts on MSG Network went in the tank also this season, seeing a ratings drop of 38 percent over last season, according to Sports Business Journal.

If Kevin Durant lands here, it’s already being speculated among industry insiders he’d host his own show on MSG Network.

The Knicks finished with the worst record in the NBA this season at 17-65. Some around the league believe Durant is coming to The Big Apple with Kyrie Irving, who is a free agent this summer as well.

Durant and the Warriors are expected to win the title again this season. If that happens, KD would have three rings on his résumé.

There's a prevailing thought that Durant wants to embark on a new challenge after this season. Signing with the Knicks and trying to get the franchise back to relevancy fits that bill.
